I have been working with animals for over ten years. Beyond having my own pets, my professional introduction began with private petsitting in Ohio. I cherished developing one-on-one, long term relationships with some great cats and dogs. Later, I started working at a dog daycare and boarding facility that specialized in large group settings.  Though I expanded my caretaking skillset, I longed for those closer connections with animals. In Chicago, I worked as a dogwalker for a bigger company. It was a very happy return to spending time with cats and dogs one-on-one.

And yet, something was still missing. Because of the variety of assignments, it was difficult to get to know each animal as I wanted. And to fully cater to a select group of animals as if they are my own, I started Lizcare.

When you choose Lizcare, it will always be me visiting and engaging your loved one. With a known confidant by their side, your pet(s) can rest easy and take full advantage of their time.
It will be as all pet caretaking should be (in my opinion): a devoted friend coming over for an interactive, joyful, and positively reinforced visit.
When you can't be there,
